попытки подружить c mplayer закончились с половинчатым результатом. Пробую захватить vhs видео. Видеокамера подключена по композиту

с командой

А как же всётаки дела обстоят с DVD2 Lite ?
Поставил последний релиз ivtv(trunk не собрался...), при запуске без параметров ничего не определяет, если явно указать cardtype и tuner определяет как DELUX, и загрузка проходит без ошибок.
Правда если использовать прошивку из win драйвера, немного ругается, дескать прошивка устарела.
А вот при попытке воспроизвести или захватить видео получаю черный экран.

Ктонибудь может чегонибудь посоветовать?

В ядро 2.6.22 ivtv будет включен, собственно начиная с rc2 он уже доступен в ядре. Дополнительно надо будет ставить только утилиты для работы.
Сейчас сижу и на радостях собираю RC2
