The shortcut keys discussed in this section refer to the U.S. keyboard layout. Keys on other layouts may not correspond exactly to the keys on a U.S. keyboard.
The term shortcut key refers to a keyboard key or key combination that is used for a quick command run.
The shortcut keys are usually given in the following form - CTRL+1 where the first abbreviation stands for the first button to be pressed, the second abbreviation stands for the second button etc.
Example
To use the CTRL+1 key combination, follow the instructions:
- Press the CTRL button on the keyboard and hold it.
- While holding the CTRL button press the 1 button on the keyboard.
- Release all buttons.
