Using Help

This help system can be opened either by pressing the F1 button when the program is running or by clicking the appropriate command on the Help menu.

The context-sensitive structure of this help system allows you to view the help section for the part of the program you are currently working with.

This help system consists of three tabs and a window displaying help information.

The Contents tab is organized into books and pages. To open a book, move the mouse pointer to the book, then double-click it. You may also move the mouse pointer to the plus symbol next to the book and click once. To open a page, move the mouse pointer to the page and click once.

The Index tab contains a list of keywords you can use to easily find the necessary information. To use the index, enter the word or phrase in the text box. The found keyword will be highlighted in the list below. Double-click the keyword in the list to view the appropriate help topic.

The Search pane allows you to search the whole help for a specified word or phrase. The help topics containing these words will be listed. Type the word or phrase in the search box, specify the search criteria and click the List Topics button. All the topics containing the defined words will be displayed in the list below. Double-click the topic listed to view its contents. The words searched are highlighted in the topic opened.

These tabs can be either hidden or shown. To hide the tabs click the button. When the tabs are hidden, only the help window is shown presenting information on the opened topic. To show the tabs click the button.


There are several ways to move around the help file. One way is to open books and then pages. You can also use the and buttons to move forward or backward between pages.


Looking through the help system you will notice that some words are given in bold or italics. The words in bold usually specify the elements of the program interface.

The words in italics correspond either to the company and product names or to the specific terms and words to which special attention should be paid.

Almost every page contains hyperlinks or the Related Topics button. They can be used for a quick access to the information connected to the opened topic.
