my typeface

Just in case you don't know: a typeface or a font type is a collection of fonts with a set of similar styles (regular, bold, italic, etc.). Right now I'm focused on one style: regular sans-serif.

The typeface supports a few languages that I personally want to read. I'm not trying to create yet another Unicode typeface, no. I leave that to others, and such others do already exist. I'm making a typeface I need, and I need it to be legible. It should be compatible with recent versions of MS Windows, MacOS, and GNU/Linux.

Current language support: Danish, English, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Russian, Swedish, Ukrainian, plus a few others. Japanese kana isn't usable yet.

Current version: 1.005

A small warning: The typeface is still in early stages of development and might be less useful than you expect it to be. Some glyphs are simple drafts that I've made as reminders of what needs to be done. Also, I don't keep old versions of my typeface.

License: GNU GPL. Basically it says that you are free to use the typeface in every pervert way in might desire and don't need to read the license at all, however some restrictions apply if you want to distribute it.

Download OpenType version (54 KB) or FontLab “sources” (54 KB).

You can support development by donating shitloads of money.

If you want glyphs or fancy-shmancy OpenType features that normal people don't need and that I don't care enough to implement, you can motivate me by money. You can also motivate me by simply asking or sending me a postcard, but you'll get further with money.

Email me if you have a question, request, or if you just want to thank me. I'll reply unless I'm depressed and don't want to talk to anyone.
